Massage – Maintaining back health in the long term

When I was a young man in my mid-20s, massage and wellness was the epitome of hedonism for me. A kind of luxury that only rich and spoiled people indulge in. But I was very much mistaken. I realized this when I had tinnitus. Today I know that massage is important to keep your back healthy in the long term and to defy stress.

Why a healthy back is important for the job

After graduation, I was full of energy and could work without ever getting tired. Such things as wellness were completely foreign to me. In my ignorance, I thought that I would never need such a thing. Relaxation was a foreign word to me. For me, action was the order of the day. But with the first years of my career, changes occurred. The daily power struggles of the people and the patronizing by arrogant superiors led to the fact that my energy was robbed bit by bit. At some point, tinnitus began to affect me. The noises almost drove me crazy. An orthopedist wrote me a prescription and I got 10 massages at the expense of the health insurance. And it really helped.

The experts from Massage Zug know this problem very well. They experience such things frequently. Under the stress that people experience at work, the muscles begin to tense. This is a completely normal, instinctive reaction with which we all react to unpleasant experiences. For some workers, this results in chronic back pain. In my case, it was the entire cervical spine. It triggered the problem. Fortunately, it went away.

Then, over my years of working, I’ve seen people taken out of work again and again because their backs broke. Back problems are a common reason for early retirement and disability. Much more often than you might think. In blue-collar jobs that involve physical strength, it can be the end of a career.

Working makes you realize that youthful energy won’t last forever. By the time you are 30 or 40, your batteries aren’t quite as full. Wellness treatments then become a way to get rid of stress and feel better. One then just acquires more and more knowledge. It is not for nothing that many older people do yoga, meditation, tai chi, etc. They know very well that without such balm for the soul they would perish.

Therefore my tip is: keep your back healthy. Exercise, move it purposefully, and treat yourself to a massage every few months. It’s an investment in your long-term ability to hold down a job. After all, if your back is broken, there’s no turning back.
