The Art Of Living Well

[vc_row][vc_column 0=””][vc_column_text]Gentlemen, there are exciting developments afoot, and today I am proud to present to you the full details of my upcoming book:

The Little Book of Practical Philosophy: Ancient Wisdom for The Modern World

For those of you who want to cut straight to the chase, you’ll find all you need to know by following the big shiny button at the end of this post. And for those of you who want a bit more background about the project, I want you to have a think about this:

Imagine for a moment that you had your own personal compass to guide you through life. A set of internalized principles that would see you through thick and thin. Not a solution to a singular problem, but an inner mindset that would bring you intact through every problem. What would that be worth to you? To be a man who has come to his own conclusions about what it means to live – and live well?

If you’re nodding your head in agreement, congratulations, because you just asked one of the most basic questions of existence – one that has occupied the greatest minds in history all the way from Socrates to the present day. Ever since ancient times, thinkers have pondered, refined, and developed what it means to live well – leaving us with a great wealth of material that we can still use to help us draw our own conclusions about what it means to live well today.

The Little Book of Practical Philosophy is my humble attempt at bringing all of this valuable knowledge together in one handy primer for the modern gent. Think about it as a handbook to living well. A book that draws on all that collected wisdom about life – the mental models of the ages, if you like, and places it in the context of practical principles we can put into action in our lives today. We are so bombarded nowadays: bombarded by information, bombarded by solutions, bombarded by opinions as to how we should behave and who we should be. Let this be your chance to seize back control, think in earnest about your own personal value compass, and start setting your own course in life.[/vc_column_text][vc_btn title=”GET THE FULL DETAILS HERE” color=”warning” size=”lg” align=”center” button_block=”true” link=”url:https%3A%2F%2Fwww.thethinkinggentleman.com%2Flittle-book-of-practical-philosophy%2F|||” css=”.vc_custom_1512235900522{margin-top: 0px ;margin-bottom: 0px ;border-top-width: 0px ;border-bottom-width: 0px ;padding-top: 0px ;padding-bottom: 0px ;border-radius: 2px ;}”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row type=”vc_default” css=”.vc_custom_1501342957633{margin-top: 20px ;margin-bottom: -20px ;}”][vc_column offset=”vc_hidden-lg vc_hidden-md”][vc_single_image image=”4047″ img_size=”full” alignment=”center” > [/vc_cta][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row 0=””][vc_column offset=”vc_hidden-sm vc_hidden-xs”][vc_single_image image=”2948″ img_size=”full” >
